  • Portland-Boston jerk festival, Boston, Portland. Visitors and Jamaican residents are invited to taste the famous jerk-chicken, fish, pork. There are a lot of activities, with live music all day.

  • Reggae Sumfest, Montego Bay. Annual reggae music festival held in Montego Bay. This 5 day event features top local and international reggae artists


August

  • Independence street festival. Kingston. This outdoor all day event offers traditional food and craft work. The days boasts a parade featuring many well-known marching/drumming bands and traditional dances like the kumina and jonkunu.

  • Port-Antonio International Marlin Tournament. Portland. One of the most prestigious sports fishing tournament for five days in the Caribbean will attract anglers from all over the world.
  • Fish festival, Manchioneal, Portland. Annual event where you can taste fish –cooked, steamed, fried in a original fishers community.
  • Peter Tosh birthday celebration. Belmont, West-Moreland. This tribute in concert to the life of this renowned reggae musician will feature many reggae artists.
  • World alive (the concert) Kingston. This concert has become the largest gospel event in Jamaica. Various International gospel artists will be featured.
